Ric’s File Tools

I’ve tried a lot of tools to organize files, specifically photos, and while many are good they either don’t do it exactly what I want or they’re expensive. So, finally, I decided to make my one tool package and I start with finding duplicate files based on filename and file size. That’s the basic functionality I’m after, but there are more features I plan to add. These are listed below.

Each feature will be a few USD (about the same in Euros). But you can buy Everything, Everywhere and All the time.

Everything, Everywhere and all the time

If you want to, and feel you can afford it, you can buy every feature, present and future, right now for a bargain price of only $9.99. I’d be very happy and you’d have all the tools I come up with whenever I come up with them. You can even suggest new tools or changes to features that I might develop.

Future features

Coming features depend on both my energy, my spare time and contributions. Needless to say, the latter works charms for the first.

Empty Folder Finder

Find empty folders in a folder structure from a specific base folder. Reduces clutter and keeps your folder tree clean and simple to navigate.

File Organizer

Organize and/or rename files by date or, for certain file types that contain tags such as photos, audio files, in a structure of your choosing.

Super Indexer

The super indexer lets you set a base folder and indexes all files in and below that folder on a checksum value that you can use in the Duplicate Finder Feature to find duplicates with different filenames and dates. As calculating checksums for files are time-consuming, a Windows Service is installed and calculates them in the background.
