A Facebook group for managing the workday

The Work Day Logger app is all about reactively log your workday. It’s an important item to get your workday to ‘work out. But there’s another important thing, and that’s planning your workday. There are lots and lots of strategies and ideas of how this is done. I’ve done a bit of writing on that topic, but yesterday I started reflecting on the other way around.

That is, it’s become crystal clear to me that the success of an app is ultimately reliant on getting input from its users. Luckily modern information platforms can make this rather easy (from a tech point of view, anyway). So I just set up a public group on that topic. At first, I thought it would be a feedback group on the Work Day Logger app, but then I figured that the interest in the app is to a big part due to the fact that a lot of people is thinking about how to manage their workday.

So, I expanded the topic of the group to be about all things workday. So you’re welcome to post and comment about the app itself (bugs, features you want to see), but also discuss things about planning and time reporting in general. I imagine such discussions will be a positive force for the future development of the Work Day Logger app itself.
